PleaseBeThere is a service for sending invitations and collecting replies, run by Sevenoways Innovations in Ireland. Using it means agreeing to what is on this page.

What we provide

A page for your event, one link to share, and somewhere for your guests to reply. Guests do not need an account. You get a private page showing who has replied.

The service is new. It is in early use with real events, and we are still building it. We may change how it works, and occasionally it may be unavailable. Please do not rely on it as the only record of who is coming to something that matters — keep your own note of the numbers before the day.

If you host an event

You are responsible for what you put on your event page, and for who you share the link with. In particular:

• Share the event link only with people you are inviting. Anyone who has it can see the event and reply.
• Keep your guest-list link private. Anyone holding it can see every reply, including guests’ names and any allergies they have mentioned. Do not paste it into a group chat.
• Your guests have given you their details for your event. Use them for that and nothing else.
• Do not put anything on an event page that is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share.

If you reply to an invitation

Please give accurate information — the host is usually counting heads for a caterer. Do not reply on someone else’s behalf without asking them.

Your reply is deleted automatically 90 days after the event. You can change or remove it before then using the private link you were given.

Things you may not do

• Use the service to send unsolicited messages of any kind.
• Try to reach events or replies that were not shared with you, including by guessing links.
• Attempt to break, overload or probe the service, or work around its limits.

We may remove an event or block access if this page is being ignored, usually without warning if people are being harmed by it.

What we do not promise

We provide the service as it is. We do not guarantee it will always be available, that a message will always arrive, or that it will suit a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect losses — for example, catering ordered for the wrong number of people. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have where you live.
